| Cute show. I liked it. Sure, there are others and they may be better but this wasn't bad. Though I find the idea of someone picking up a guitar for the first time then playing a concert three months later a bit hard to swallow, lol. At least the other girls had years of experience in their past. Also a bit convenient that Kasumi makes friends with a bunch of girls who also play instruments, and don't have instrument conflicts. Would've been cool if they had to do like real bands often do and scout out / advertise for a member. When she first mentioned playing at Space to Tae, Tae's reaction was what any normal person would be like. Kinda weird that she just flipped and was like sure, lets do it in an episode or so. I thought for sure it was going to angle toward her being annoyed at Kasumi's not very serious seeming attitude toward music, like she's taking for granted the dedication required to play an actual concert. They did later touch on it, but very lightly and it was quickly moved past. Ah well, unless they do a time skip it's not like anyone is here to watch a bunch of girls do a whole season of awkward practices, lol, so of course they need to move them along for the story :) The other things that were weird to me were graphical in nature; the odd spiky accent the artists added to the characters' irises looked strange to me. That and the CGI during performances was a bit awkward at times. Not sure why they felt the need to CG that. Though I did like the detail they put into instruments and such. |
