I really loved the novels, so I'm looking forward to re-experiencing them in their animated forms.

Probably not happening, but what do you think the chances are of the entire novel series getting adapted?

Is the story of the novels which will be adapted in season 2 more interesting than season 1
I mean how is the story progressing compared to season 1 ... I want to be more hyped...

Well, season 1 ends right where the story shifts from being all about Ainz to being more about world building and character development. It shifts from the narrative being from the perspective of Ainz, and starts shifting around to the perspectives of his servants to develop their character and show what they do and how they act when Ainz isn't around.

Like I said earlier, there is also a lot of world building. It isn't just showing the perspective of his servants, it will often shift to the perspective of various people within the world, and the way the different societies in it operate, and delves a little bit into the politics.

That being said, there is still plenty of Ainz scattered throughout it, and it still does jump back to his perspective occasionally. The first season of the anime is basically just testing the waters in the shallow end of the pool; season 2 (if it stays faithful to the novels) is going to be jumping into the deep end of the pool where the real depth of the story starts to be come apparent.

Ainz starts ramping up the awesomeness as well. Season 2 should be starting off right at the beginning of
, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Novels 5-10 are significantly better than the first four novels (season one covered the first three). Although I am unsure how they're going to adapt 4 and 8, or if they're even going to adapt them at all. Either way, let's just say that the perspective changes a lot more in the later novels. Overlord is at its best when it's from the perspective of the world's inhabitants who are often in awe over even the most menial things in regards to Ainz.

I read the novels up to 9 or 10 I think, the deeper it gets after the first season the eviler and crueler Ainz gets, like he's slowly forgetting how to be human and it's why I stopped reading the novels I just couldn't watch and relate or like an evil character, I'm far to morally idealistic same thing that ruined Death Note for me I couldn't stand Light.

Finished the first season a few days ago and loved it. Don't know why I didn't watch it when it aired, but definitely won't make the same mistake for season 2
