You can't blame them really if the mangakas come up with stories that tries to do too many things at the same time/following the cookie cutter shounen policy. On the other hand look at how well the promised neverland is doing, you need to build up steadily with some creativity at least.

Nope if you didn't know, they are promoting it wholeheartedly for now after its decent sales and consistent good rankings. You reap what you sow.

Also I think that's the reason they are bringing back prev mangakas of Knb, Beelzebub etc.

Ah that's sad, but yeah WSJ has its own issues with axing series like hot cakes... well, one question if I may ask.

From the six series they announced, was this the only one that got axed? or were there others than this that got axed from that number?

They just announced six new series two weeks ago, demon's plan has been running from Nov. Amalgam which started a bit earlier than demon's plan also got axed.

I dont think this series was that bad tbh. A little on the generic side with MC having a kinda lame power but a few more weeks and this could've been a good series.
Sucks that this manga got axed.

I think the message is pretty clear from wsj, they lost a lot of good series last year, so either show them some steady approach in first 10 chap with a goal or perish. That's why they are loading it with six new series so that some of them can click.
