| Metal. But seriously, I feel as if a lot of Japanese rock bands try to mix things up a little. They aren't the usual cut 4 chords many American Rock bands play here, but that's just me. |

| American rock is better overall but then you have a lot more american rock bands so its almost unfair. Japan probably has better metal though with bands like Loudness, Vow wow, and Seikima II. |

| I gravitate to American and British rock, but there are some cool Japanese rock songs I've run across. "It's Love" by Rabbit wasn't exactly hardcore, but was a catchy tune. I'm sure I'd like more if I knew where to look, the majority of my exposure is to American and British music though. I'd say "Between You and Me" (Kuragehime OP by Chatmonchy) is more Indie, but is a cool theme. Of course "Don't Say Lazy" from K-On!'s 1st season ED is freakin boss. |
