For example if a manga is very popular and then it's more than likely for an anime adaptation to be green-lit. From what I've gathered, Akagami no Shirayuki Hime was an unpopular series and subsequently the manga, DVD/BD sales were affected by this. That's disappointing because it was incredibly enjoyable. Though they don't get married, I read this ending is not in the manga (Still going on). It's supposed to be more of a conclusive ending. I mean yeah, we don't see them get married but they are pretty much to the point where they know they will always be together. |
