Is it worth giving this series another go?

So I want to get some anime off of my 'on-hold' list and also I want to try some more of Kyoto Animation's works since the previous ones for me have been average (animation is beautiful though).
But I just want to know is it worth giving this series another go like does the story get better since it seemed very confusing when I started watching it which is why I have put it on-hold.
Any opinions would be appreciated.

yea defiantly give it another go, its a lovely show with action and hints at romance here and there. Even some sad spots too. I thought it was immensely funny on my first watch through. but again this is just my opinion lol

Thanks for your help and I ended up giving it a go and it got worse to be honest but I did like the cute dance sequence and character designs so that's something.
