Don't click the spoiler, Its regarding the deleted chapters about who Aisha ends up with. If you still don't know, you're better off that way.
What the hell was that about her in Ars?!
I didn't exactly read it but just took a peek at the last chapter. Because I had a feeling this was coming and if I read it from the start it would destroy a good chunk of MT for me but curiosity killed the cat.
She seriously got pregnant by freaking Ars? Her nephew?!??!?!?!??!!??!
Is it still canon?(Yeah I read that its officially removed since its too controversial but just to make sure) Hope this is completely removed in the LN version lol
Anyway the main point of this thread is what were your thoughts about that?
I wish I didn't get a peek at the last chapter or seen it at Baka tsuki in the first place lol
You should have read the entire thing (I read it way before the english translation released and saw the hate on the JP fanbase).
It's not as bad as people claim. Unless you are a huge moralfag to the core (then what the fuck you doing reading MT in the first place?)
Of course the move was just stupid by Rifujin, and I would have preferred an Aisha x Alek end much much more...
For now, Rifujin said that it is canon but he will rewrite the process of the relationship (probably to when Ars is a full fledged adult instead of this running away bullshit).
One thing I always liked about MT is that it isn't scared to show how faulty each character can be (especially Rudy) and learn from their mistakes to change, no matter how fucking bad the said mistake was.
We will just have to wait on more updates on Rifujin. I don't get all these kids that whine about the Aisha arc like how it is the end of the series.. If you hate MT over the ending of a side character (she is an important character but she isn't a huge part of the main cast), you probably weren't a fan of the series in the first place.
Such a shitty end to one of my personal favorite in the novel.
This is the type of nonsense that Rudy(I think it was him) was afraid of separating the family(Well it did). Sure they barely hushed it out in the end but it was legitimately hard for a lot of the members of the family, especially lilia but she can only force herself to agree to this charade, after all in the end she can't hate her daughter forever.
Would have preferred she ended up with Alek lad and no unnecessary drama would have ensued in the first place and everyone is happy.
It's canon no matter if you like it or not! Storywise, it was the best route her character could arrive. That's why I recommend reading it.
For all those people with their pitiful morality: Aisha and Ars have different blood flowing through their veins, in that regard you cannot call that incest anymore. In the first place, incest was totally normal in the medieval time and the lack of anti-bodies can be compensated with healing magic.
The other matter with Ars' age is also not an abnormality. Historical records show many nobles wed to others the moment they can produce semen. Besides, 6 years ago, losing their virginity with 12/13 was no big deal. Please dont say 2 years make any difference.
Honestly, all those dramatical overreaction is totally unjust.
lol i was just seeing the discussions after I finished the story and I found this.well I don't care about their relationship but u should have seen Rudeus's reaction to it.He used all of his power to capture them. But I never expected Aisha to do that. it kinda felt that she manipulated Ars from a very young age so that he will depend on her always.
I think I wrote this when, I re-read the special ch like a month/2months after I initially finished it... Too long? Prolly not, just me using every braincells I have to just try and put this and tie this shite up in the tale that Aisha read to Ars, and ummm where it started all. Now I, had this thought that "ohhh fuck I should have also expanded on her being a maid and what this means" but when I started up the document I was like "fuckkkk it...."
It was indeed saddening that in Mushoko Tensei Redundancy, Aisha’s arc was removed due to the backlash from the ppl. Was the story worthy of so-called happy ending and still be deemed by the romanticists and critics alike, viewed by the masses as something so vile, repulsive and irredeemably taboo unlike what the story it wants to be told? I’m afraid to wholeheartedly agree, yet despite so; I’m willing to stomach such repulsiveness and cramp up such irresistibly vile demeanour inside of me to accept that a story can be written in such a disgusting way, yet will have such weight to be called as pure because was it so wrong to act upon even though you know it’s wrong? Such contradiction be damned. The exposition doesnt help the story but it allows the viewer to diverge from the story to the their disposition. Isekai, or at least from its roots upheld such cliche, it is from the contradiction within the morals of the “current world” and from Earth that the disposition of such characters can be weight out, and then analyze from the outside wherein he lies; from either the extremity of good or from the extremity of evil, yet at the same time; everything in the middle will forever be ignored for its lack of vision, or perhaps clarity from one such example because it’s frivolous to divulge in such topic when one single part can change the narrative from the middle to the extreme. Yet here we are, reading the tale of “Story of Ars” as if it’s prologue; the cause of it all when in fact it should be the closer. The exposition of the narrative of the story, the underlying perspective of not the characters but what should be the readers, in such a short tale, the readers should not think of why Aisha would think in such a manner but feasibility of the action of the what if, because we are the readers that are now, that’s why the arc currently is removed; due to our narrow minded thinking of what if Aisha didnt kidnap Ars? What if Aisha never was born? What if Aisha never held Ars? What if Ars never confessed immaturely? The tale was such, in a way close to what happened at the end of Aisha’s arc. Were there salvation at the end? Prolly not; the viewer will never permit such repulsive relationship in the first place. Was Ars, who fought the demon lord to protect the wish of his beloved in the tale so honourable and praiseworthy? Of course it was, for such action the whole world was saved at the very least. But for Aisha, who wanted to be happy despite knowing her mistake? Fucking hell no! Or so the viewers screamed from the top of their lungs. When Ars finally accepted his mistake, found the last Sage, and settled it, was such action incited the feeling of relieve and hope? Of course it did, for such fate to incline and the ahhh so it must have been decided from the start kind of feeling that we the viewer praises such events, if it’s not hope then what would it be? When Aisha’s smile filled with happiness despite all of her regret, despite all of her wrongdoing, despite nearing feeling the end of her life fleeting every second, despite acknowledging her mistake at the last minute of it all, did such vivid image incited compassion and the sense of fulfillment? Of course.... such a thing can be written in such a way, the will swing towards the extremity of good, and the extremity of evil; but such conception lies not from the feelings of the characters but the feelings of the viewers, their wholehearted emptiness to paint something black despite it being white can indeed happen, but the opposite can happen. At the end of the tale, Ars never found salvation but, viewers might think, in the side of the coin; Aisha’s salvation will be wholeheartedly be relayed by the viewer yet look at the end of it all. I mean, we can only see, from what 2-4 years from now what has happened and so it seemed that, Aisha’s salvation never existed. Was her action something so repulsive, so vile that the saints will never allow for her to have a second chance? As it seems so, yet for me; Aisha being happy and not wearing her maid outfit, that bores her narrow mindedness and immaturity, to be the wife of Ars, for me is something that not that even weight of the world will be something so trivial if I’ll lift it.
TLDR
ngl I can see why ppl will never forgive Aisha for what she'd done but at the end of the day, regardless; and even if this will hunt me down later... I'm happy for Aisha's genuine smile at the end of it all... I mean y'know, I think the way it ended about the description of Aisha, not wearing her maid uniform hold so much weight to me, that it puts me in this zone where I just say "woah.... that was one hell of a ride to show her change"
