It needs Tokyo Ghoul: Brotherhood. Especially season 2 since its utter crap and season 1 saves itself to an extent.

To the haters (and people who might consider watching), Tokyo Ghoul has so many underlying themes that you have to watch carefully to get. It's really an amazing anime. For example, the battle between Kaneki's human side and ghoul side, and the question of which side is more right. (SPOILER) Through the café shop, Anteiku, you can see how the characters are unable to tell people and ghouls apart, indicating that there is no difference between man and monster. Basically you guys completely missed the whole concept of Tokyo Ghoul and set it aside as trash. Ok, second season wasn't nearly as fulfilling as the first, I agree, but if you can, at least give the first season a try.
