| Hey guys I am looking for anime where the MC and friends are on a journey. It would be great if there were swords, magic, etc. those sort of things. I want shows similar to Tears to Tiara, Arslan Senki, Utawarerumono, and so on. It is prefered if the MC is male and the show is newer that 2004. I look forward to the help! I tried Kingdom, but I couldn't watch it because I hated how the characters were 3D. |

| I guess Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii sort of fits? It's medieval set and the female mc did journey to where the male mc is and there's magic~ xD You can also try Hakuouki. It's set in historical Japan and it has sword fights and supernatural elements to it. |
