Which episode did you like the most visually?
| The Animatrix is a compliation of short stories that serve as spin-offs of the Matrix trilogy and each story has a distinct visual quality from CGI fight scenes to hack and slash, old school samurai action. Which episode did you like the most visually? I have to select Program. I love the old school animation with very detailed drawings an sketches of the characters. It reminds me of Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell (movies). |
| I'll have to say Kid's story. The scratchy art looked great for faces and even more interesting for movement. That whole fall scene was very good. A lot of the others are close though. |

| Kid's Story. I really wish that kind of art style was used in anime more often. It's so beautiful. |
| The Second Renaissance, the image of the Robotic ‘Horseman of the Robopocalypse’ heralding the advance of the machine army was chilling. Especially set to Overseer’s ‘Supermoves’ which helps add excitement to the thrilling battle montage, which cuts to the symbolic image of man in a gear representing man serving machines now, instead of the other way around as humanity is trampled in the final battle of the war. |
