i go into every anime without any expectations,
i don't compare to other anime to give it a fair chance,
normally i stop after 2 episodes if it's just not my cup of tea.
most of the time if I give up on an anime cause it's too predictable.
(rarely happens)

currently my worst would be due to the constant plot holes, redundancies, and utter lack of rational thought would be fairy tail, but momma didn't raise a quitter...
on season2 ep73 now and the power of friendship is still going strong....

Green Green did give us the idiot trio that has been copied multiple times though so there is always that.

From this current year the worst show has to be that smartphone isekai lol. I am wholly convinced that it was some sort of money laundering scheme cooked up by the yakuza and not a serious anime.

Last years Occultic;Nine also comes to mind with it's interesting concept but absolutely dreadful pacing. Random crap thrown in for whatever reason that could have been omitted but instead CRAMMED in to each exhausting episode.

Why is each episode exhausting? Because EACH and EVERY character literally talks about twice as fast as or faster than a normal human. That new show Jūni Taisen can have two sets of subtitles going at a time during an episode and it is still EASIER to follow than your average episode of 0;N, I have never seen anything like that in a show ever lol.
