Gintama movie and Haruhi are some of the best as well. I was trying to avoid movies that went along with shows, but I will definitely agree with you. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Kara no Kyoukai yet. |

| Princess Mononoke Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind Spirited Away Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu 5cm per second (just because it's animated so beautifully) Howl's Moving Castle I haven't watched enough anime movies to populate this list further, but I'm sure that Studio Ghibli dominates this area. |
