Just a thread dedicated to Taichi's character so far in Tri. I personally feel that making Tai more mature was a good idea...just wasn't really executed well. I mean yes, taking responsibility for your actions and showing genuine concern for them is a great idea but him showing hesitation and standing while Kuwagamon and Alphamon are wrecking the city and wail on his friends just seems...dumb. I mean you can say that him acting this way is realistic because he's a teenager and going through a lot of stuff. Well thing is...it's not really that realistic to be honest. Since it's been like what 4 years, he shouldn't have changed that much to feel this way, well show this much hesitation rather. I've known people who basically act the same way they did 4 years ago as they do now. Sure, they've matured somewhat, but not to the point where they're completely different then when they were back then. What also annoys me is when he's worried about Alphamon killing innocent civilians when there's NOBODY THERE! The area was already evacuated! I mean yes, Meiko was still there and they had to show some restraint, but they could've at least got her away from the area, then go all out. Or Tai could've at least reasoned with him, cause it's obvious Alphamon is aware of what he's doing.
