Ok i just completed episode 1 and one thing that comes to my mind is mindboggling rarely do series get me so attached in Ist epiosde .

so leaving it at that i have posted this because renzu was invited or i think forced by mushi in human form to take part in the MUSHI BANQUET where they said that they have been requested to offer her kouki so that she transcends in to a mushi.

Now the question here if she would have drunk the whole kouki (although which never happened) from the wine cup how would she even conceive a child let alone the prophesied grandson with unique powers.
This can only mean that that mushi were deceiving her but that not the case either it appears since after banquet being broken in between the human renzu did have a grand child with unique powers.

So can any one please clear me about this whole events in detail.

so what do you ask? your theory is pretty clear and it's true.

yes true that is the scenario as shown in episode.
but what i am asking what " IF" she had drunk the whole kouki woudn't she be a complete mushi with no human form and hence not able to conceive a human child.

right that's what i am saying why offer kouki to renzu when the mushi that approached her knew she wont have a child if she drank the whole kouki & YET SAYING SHE WOULD HAVE A GRANDCHILD WITH POWERS DOESN'T THIS CONTRADICT IN ITSELF.

It's been a while since I've seen it, so I can't remember the episode in detail, but perhaps they knew the banquet would be interrupted?

I think thats plausible if one thinks in that way but i dont think thats the case because ginko when talking to renzu's grandchild says it was fortunate she didnot turn completely to mushi which in turn implies mushi were trying to get her on their side.

I don't think it would affect her ability to reproduce. There was this episode where a guy's wife was a bamboo mushi lady and he had kids with her.

i am almost convinced but the problem here is they are two different mushi and assuming otherwise as u suggest doesnt hold to be true as i think she was yet to mature ,In episode one if u remember after drinking kouki partially her one half changes to mushi and other remians human and her mushi self doesnt age i.e, she remains a kid so i think are aging process stops hence unable to reproduce if u had drunk the whole kouki ,,,this is all a hypothesis hope im making sense.
