Also, you should develop on your "all kinds of other music" point, you only posted electronica, and not a very varied selection of genres.

I agree. That was a pretty small slice of music there, with it all falling under electronica / edm.

lol, so duncan and unbound qualifies as electro now?

that was some of the stuff i liked. i wasn't going to post all of them.

besides i have no idea why he has such huge butthurt anyway. i don't like pop. no reason to throw your salt on me.

Depends on your definition of pop really. I love both Dream pop and Noise pop and listen to other various subgenres of pop. Though if by pop you just mean the music you hear on mainstream radio and music channels, then yeah I guess it is pretty shitty more often than not.

To answer the topic, I try to listen to a bit of everything, though rock and it's many many subgenres would be what I mainly listen to I suppose. Also, Burial is awesome so nice taste.

Oh god, this is actually really sad. I don't even know why I'm arguing with you over such a trivial thing. -_-

What was I even claiming?

Yeah, and you totally read that whole list in the 4 minutes it took you to respond to me. Please. I was merely showing you how tedious it would be.

I skimmed through it then used ctrl+f to search genres on the page and none of them came up. And yeah, it's tedious to do. So I understand you not wanting to do it, but since you didn't already have it made and didn't want to list them out you really shouldn't have made the claim. You were claiming that you listen to pretty much everything, so the majority of genres. Then you listed out a bunch of similar genres and completely avoided genres that are unrelated. This is a pet peeve of mine so that's why I got so annoying about it.

Also as proof that its missing a ton of genres (and subgenres which I see as genres, so should be listed) here's some not on there: Lolicore, Breakcore, Noise (it has Japanoise though surprisingly but not in a correct location), Laptop Micro-Autism, Vaporwave, Mallsoft, Speedcore, Splittercore, Extratone, Acid, Shitfunk, Noisegrind, Gorenoise, Pornoise, Porngrind, Grindcore, Goregrind, Loligrind, Cybergrind, Scum, Drone Doom, NESBM, NSBM, Atmospheric Black Metal, Post-Black Metal, Raw Black Metal, Pre-Hispanic Black Metal, Dungeon Synth, City Pop, J-Rap, Cloud Rap, Horrorcore, Future Funk, Vaportrap / Cloudtrap, Tech-house, Minimal (Electronic), Minimal House/Techno, Mashcore, Mashups, Power Electronics, North Korean Pop, EBM, Samplecore, Drill & Bass, lowercase, Microsound, Field Recordings, Avant-pop, Gabber, Raggacore, Post-Rock, War Trance, Tribal Ambient, Dark Ambient, Sonifications, Futurism, Japanese Sound Poetry, Moeclick, Blackgaze, Noise Pop, Moog Music, Indonesian Pop

that music genre list is missing all my favorites.. it's soo damn incomplete it's just sad.. it's already missing well known genres like Thrash Metal, Doom Metal, or Grindcore, Crust Punk, Deathrock etc. no wonder Stenchcore and Crashercrust arnt in there.

but Gabber is in there, just not under its original name. it's listed as Hardcore in the electronic music section. dutch people havn't called it ''Gabber'' in over 20 years. only the subculture is is named that now. it misses all the subgenres though, like you mentioned with Speedcore and such. the entire list is a mess.

I know that they don't call it gabber but I'm not Dutch so I call it gabber and see hardcore as a similar but different genre.

I dunno, sometimes I just get the impression that some people listen to these Japanese bands just because they're obsessed with Japanese culture.

For a moment I thought you had good taste in music, but then I saw dubstep and other shit (except ambient, which sometimes can be great).
Anyhow, I mostly listen to classic rock, but I don't mind some pop music. As for jpop, I rarely listen to it.

I don't HATE pop music, but I don't listen to UK and US pop songs. Sometimes I listen to japanese music and it gets used as an op of an anime. That happened with KANA-BOON - Talking.

I'll never get tired of psychedelic

Other genres i'm into (rock, synth, new wave, vaporwave, ...)

And of course some from my country ^^
