| I had played piano off and on for 10 years starting when I was around 5 up until high school. At some point senior year I sprained my finger and haven't played the same since. I played one more time I think Junior year in college but then I stopped. I wouldn't mind taking lessons again, learning theory properly, and getting back to state level. I also played acoustic and electric guitar for 2 years. I got the basics pretty good since I knew how to read music for piano but I still needed a lot of work. There used to be this latin etude we played for practice in high school that I loved. I can't remember the name but it always made me smile. I did enjoy playing Dearest from Inuyasha in college. At the mini concert my friends said people where swaying their hands side to side. It was a good memory. I want to learn bass guitar and drums before I croak. |

| I played the flute for seven years, sixth through twelvth grade. I was not good, but I stuck with it because I liked marching band. Concert season, not so much. I can't recall a song I actually like for it. I sang in choir for six years, second semester of eleventh grade through all four and half years of college. Yes, voice is an instrument. >.> Sang Alto II, which is ironic for my high-pitched voice. Also tons better at it than the flute, made All-State without even trying--scratch that, I even screwed up and started singing the wrong part. Favorite song was "I Saw Two Clouds" by I don't know who. :D Lower key, E flat I think (there's a higher version in...G, maybe?). I took enough piano lessons to remember what the keys are, and to figure out songs by ear. Very slowly, though. :) Oh, and I played the handbells in choir, since I was one of the few who could read music. |

| I play the bassoon. It's a large double reeded wooden instrument. When I say large, it's a little bigger than five feet in height. (I'm five-three!! It's about a head shorter than me.) | I play the Guitar, and have been playing seriously for about 3 years (It took two years of me having a guitar to actually learn more than the A/D/G/E chords, so technically 5 years).
