| It sounds like a connection problem between you and MAL, or perhaps an issue with MAL's servers. Taiga itself doesn't have an error message like that, so I imagine it's MAL returning an error when you try to update your list. Please post a screenshot of the actual error message, rather than the message as you remember it. Do you have anything queued for update on History page when you get the error? If so, include a screenshot of that page too, while making sure that the details are visible. |
| In layman's terms, this is what happens: Taiga sends a letter to MAL, and MAL responds. But when Taiga opens MAL's letter, it sees that there's nothing inside the envelope... Thus, Taiga lets you know that "MyAnimeList returned an empty response". It's weird, because I've never seen it happen in the synchronization process (it usually happens when you search for some anime but MAL's unable to find it). Also, it doesn't seem like anything's wrong with your anime list; I'm able to download it just fine. Try this: Go to Settings → Services → MyAnimeList and erase your password. Then hit the Synchronize button again. Is Taiga able to download your anime list now, or do you get the same error? Note that this is not a solution; I'm just trying to figure out which request returns the empty response. |
