| Noticed you haven't seen Sailor Moon. You should do that. Another one you could watch is Onisama e or Dear Brother. It takes place at a school for girls. Also Revolutionary Girl Utena. Though most of the villains are boys. The hero and the love interest are girls so. Lot of feminist themes play out so it is interesting to watch. By the same person as Onisama e and more popular, Rose of Versailles also has a main female protaganist and a female love interest. It has equal female and male characters I think. Lot of drama in this just like Onisama e. It is older so the animation gets kinda stuttered at times though it is still beautiful if you are interested in the history of it all. It takes place during the French revolution. Ranma 1/2 had a large female cast in it and was kinda a precursor to the typical harem anime and Tenchi Muyo series kinda was a Harem anime I guess. So you could look there too. XD |
