Hi there,
So here are my recommendations. The best tear jerker in my opinion is the good ol Clannad After Story which you have seen. Apart from that, there are (in no particular order):
- Plastic memories (1 anime season with a proper ending, manga is the continuation of the anime I think...)
- A lull in the sea (1 anime season with satisfying ending, manga's on going)
- A town where you live (1 anime season which probably covers everything, manga's done)
- Grave of the fireflies (Ghibli studio, featured film)
- Princess Kaguya (Ghibli studio, featured film)
- Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (1 anime season with a proper ending, not sure about manga) - also one of the most realistic drama anime ever.
