A non harem romance anime??

I'm looking for a romance anime that doesn't have all the girls going for just the main character
*I don't mind love triangles
*more than one couple (it doesn't matter if the anime doesn't have multiple couples or not)
Any Suggestions?

Nagi no Asukara is a bit messy and a harem to me since tons of love triangles were formed but most of the female characters likes one guy

+1 Special A - one of the few romance animes that don't have a love triangle.
Lovely Complex is good but it has a few love triangles, especially near the season finally.

haha this is a broad subject so I'm gonna narrow the ones that I personally think is good

Toradora - funny and pull at your heartstrings as well, it has great flow in tone when the serious parts hit

Ah my goddess - if you don't mind slice of life

Lovely complex - has extremely well balanced comedy and romance

Spice and Wolf - one of my favourite series and female character, but you have to
be prepared for a slow moving but interesting pace

Kaichow wa maid sama - a romance anime more targeted towards girls as the main character is a girl but I enjoyed it

Your lie in April - a recent anime that had my attention the whole time, it has a musical premise but the relationship is also the main focus in this series

Clannad After Story is a non-harem love story but the first season of Clannad is a straight up harem so I don't know if I agree with the people suggesting it here

Clannad is definitely a good anime, especially Clannad After Story. Even though it is harem, it's clear which girl the mc likes most, and the other girls all get their episodes which in the worst case you can skip. But in the second half they all realize that they have no chance, since the mc only loves this one girl. And after that it is not a harem anymore but a love story, tearjerker and slice of life that goes over to After Story and becomes a master piece that is definitely worth watching. And since it's a sequel it might be a bit difficult to completely skip the first season.
Maybe it would be an idea to look for an episode guide and focus on the main pairing to avoid the harem as much as possible, but not miss out on the main love story development. I know it sounds complicated but... Clannad (harem) and Clannad After Story (not harem) are without a doubt a great comedy/romance/slice of life and especially tearjerker anime.

Toradora! People apparently say this is not a harem, but as I rewatched it recently I came to realize that there are 3 girls who like the mc at one point at the same time. Otherwise it has a good story, a tearjerker and there is one true pair. Which the mc though doesn't realize until the last few episodes. If I understood it correctly there is this kind of game or visual novel where you can choose the girl though. And many people write they wanted the mc in the anime to end up with another girl. However this is still a good one, and there is one true pair in the anime and all the girls make each other realize that they like the mc so it contributes to the main love story so it is, well, something one has to deal with.
