| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya II: I'm really glad that Asakura came back into the story, though I don't know if we'll see her again. I can also now definitively say that I don't like Kyon anymore. It feels like all he can do now is yell, and I'm tired of it. The first half of the story took considerable effort to ensure that we never completely trusted the members of the SOS Brigade; they all answer to higher powers and have interest that may conflict. Now it feels like they can do no wrong and all there is no real attempt to have us trust the new characters. The new characters are pretty much evil, or at least they are to Kyon's eyes. |
