Wow just wow, even from the very first episode to the very last it feels like I'm watching a movie. This is what I think series should be like. No fillers, comedy very subtle, love scenes very subtle, everything transitions so well on to the next episode.

Other episodic animes don't give the same feeling, so I really don't understand why this isn't rated higher. Even the animes at the very top of the list just seem like some story with several BS filler episodes.

This show trimmed the fat very well, it's like a high class steak, while other shows seem to be full of fatty cheap meat. But fat tastes good, so I guess that's why this show isn't getting the reviews it deserves from everyone?

Looking at the director he mostly directs action types movies, such as karas. So that does explain a lot.

When SnB adaptation was announced it was supposed to be a movie but then they changed their decision IIRC.
