| LOL @ the intense music and dynamic camera movement in the scene where Rin is trying to "kill" Shirou. We already know there's no way Rin is actually going to kill Shirou, so all the effects and everything just made the whole thing look really fucking stupid. Heck they go together to have another strategy meeting later in this very episode... and call another truce. If it's all meant to be funny, well, it's really not. Ok so when facing off (or rather, running away from) Lancer, Shirou didn't die immediately because Lancer was just toying with his prey. Understandable. What's not understandable is how Shirou survives more than 2 seconds against Rider, who was clearly going for the kill. Shirou calls her relatively weak, and while she may be the weakest servant of the bunch, there's no way someone who barely survived against a fellow tsundere high schooler should last even a second against an actual servant. But hey, plot armour isn't anything new, so I have no right to complain at this point. Would've been nice if Rider shredded Shirou to pieces right then and there. What's funny is that even if Rider is considered the weakest servant in UBW, Also I legit forgot who are the masters of Lancer, Caster, Rider, and Assassin. It's nice to re-watch a show after so many years, if you have forgotten enough stuff, it's like watching it for the first time. |
