| THIS IS A LIGHT NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- This has been an OK start for this light novel so far. In just one Sunday morning in April, our MC, Kazuki Ootaki, an an ordinary slobby teenage boy (WARNING: If you think this is another cliché then turn back & don't read any further!) receives a giant cardboard box with a Boston bag and briefcase right at his doorstep. When he opens this giant box, inside he finds a bubble wrapped doll about the size of a real girl.....no wait! It IS a real girl! What if she couldn't breathe inside?? And she's NAKED!!!! The moment she opens her eyes, she looks at Kazuki while trying to identify and recognize her surroundings then suddenly calls him "Onii-chan" and hugs him! Wha..? This lovely doll-like girl's name is Sabrina, who is actually the estranged daughter of a powerful Italian mafia boss who passed away. Surprisingly, Kazuki's parents have ties with this mafia boss and takes Sabrina in the household, only to send her to their son, Kazuki, so that he can take care of the rest. Such responsible parents. >.> Nevertheless, Sabrina has been adopted into the household as his new little sister. She's a cute airhead who has a yandere side. Having a newly adopted yandere sister could be a problem if anyone finds out about her and her background especially in school. Well, actually, it DID cause some trouble during Sabrina's visit to her brother's school because she was worried about him. And Sabrina seems to dislike Saki Kinoshita, a very sweet and charming girl who happens to have feelings for Kazuki. To think that this was only a love triangle, I was wrong because the nun character happens to add herself into the relationship. Harem established. xD There's also Sabrina's educator and the underboss (second in command) as important characters in the story, who are involved with Sabrina having to be the next boss of the Mafia organization. These led to events with people getting hurt, and breaking up of a family. Overall, I think this was good. Sabrina is now a precious family member to Kazuki who is very dear to him. Not only that he gains a cute new little sister, but there are 2 more ladies who will also get involved with his daily life. Harem, I tell ya! Now let's see what happens next in the next volume~ |
