| Basically what I mean is animes in which the MC is initially weak but because of his latent potential or special power, develops really fast and becomes stronger, if not the strongest. Take Blue Dragon for example, Shu(MC) starts out really weak but the audience knows that he will become strong if not the strongest in the anime. He one of the legendary shadows and its the BLUE DRAGON! Another example would be Naruto, I mean come on, 9 tails sealed in yourself? Infinite mana right there, and Naruto actually develops into a ninja that is recognized by everyone in the shinobi world. Accel world, Haruyuki, dang he's round... but that doesn't really matter to me. What matters is that he develops this particular ability that got my blood pumped. Does this clarify what I mean? Other examples -HxH -Freezing -Tokyo Raven -Tokyo Ghoul -Hikaru No GO -Air Gear -Blue Exorcist I mean I don't really mind the age or genre of the anime. But Romance would be icing on cake. |

| Chrome Shelled Regios- Well, he's already powerful right off the bat. You'll learn this in the first episode so it isn't really a spoiler, but you'll learn his circumstances throughout the anime. D.Gray-Man- A few of the characters, including the MC, get stronger throughout the anime through various experiences. Katekyo Hitman Reborn- Repeatedly get stronger and stronger Katanagatari- I guess it's better to say that he hones his skills even more throughout the anime Kill la Kill Tegami Bachi World Destruction: Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin Zero no Tsukaima Just threw a few more at the end. Didn't look at your list so my bad if you've seen some of them |
