| Well, this was a very good show! Pretty much the only part of it I disliked was the first half of Chimera Ant (it dragged on and mostly consisted of people fucking dying) but it did lead to some great moments in the latter half of the arc. It's a shame we never got to see Kurapika after the Yorkshin arc. I was hoping the show would focus on the Phantom Troupe from that point onwards and I'm still a bit sad it didn't, to be honest. I'm guessing the author left that for later but, well, that may just become never, at least based on what I've heard about the manga's releases. I will definitely be on the look-out for any new adaptations, though. 👀 Also, why was the only thing that I ever saw people share in relation to HxH a random screenshot of Leorio's face??? It genuinely made me think he would be the main villain or something. xd |

| I'm really torn on how to feel about HxH as a whole. I'd say that the first half of the series (Hunter Exam, Heaven's Arena, Phantom Troupe, and Greed Island) was an easy 9/10. I know I'm in the minority when I say this, but Chimera Ant was a 5/10 at best and more like a 4/10. Then the Election arc was solid until they decided to just have someone we've known for ten episodes become Chairman. Ging's closing remark is a great motto to live by; we have to enjoy the journey because that's often more important than our destination. But it also seems like a punch in the gut as a viewer since a lot of the "detours" we took had no resolution and felt meaningless. I ultimately scored HxH a 7/10 because the first half was so amazing, but I don't know if I could honestly tell someone that it's worth it to keep watching past Episode 70ish. |

OF COURSE, IT'S BEEN WORTH EVERY F*CKING SECOND! now, i'll stop watching anime for a while, im going to concentrate in manga because for my stupidity i started 2 more series when i need to complete one i've been reading since 2021. WELL...I THINK THIS IS THE FAREWELL.... :,) |
