If you really don't want to, first season covered up to volume 6, minus one chapter from volume 5 which is covered in the second season. At least read the epilogue of volume 6 before continuing to read the novels. |

| I think it is fine... They adapted it quite faithfully. There is a little detail here and there, but that's just a matter of "more knowledge" than impact on the plot. Something like future speculation matters or so. |

I might be a little late with this, decided to start from the beginning just to get the info and I feel like the first novel had a lot more info that hte anime wasn't able to get in. There were definatly hints towards future volumes in the first and I thought it was pretty good becuase it gave a much clearer setting than the anime ever did for me. |
