Looking for Anime with Girl MC - SuperNatural

I am looking for an anime that is similar with these series.

Brynhldr In the darkness
Elfen Lied

Both has a bloody and gore elements. But I like Brynhldr better than Elfen Lied
Also they had a little bit of romance and drama so those make things much better, and little bit of comedy sometimes.

It's okay if the Girl is not the Main MC as long as she has a a huge involvement with the story then it'll be okay.

Any recommendations?

Both series belongs with the same creator by the way.

try Mirai Nikki, the girl is not the MC but ... really, she is mega involved in the history and its the same kind of feel than elfen lied, and Brynhldr In the darkness.

I've already seen both Mirai Nikki & Freezing a long time ago.

its not supernatural per se, but scientific, basically its the same thing. if you haven't watched it, you should. its amazing. and the female character has a spin off show called railgun which is surprisingly good. it has a little of everything
