| A Fairytale for the Demon Lord (webtoon) - about a nameless knight who saved a princess from the Demon Lord, but then becomes a Demon Lord himself. Great art.. Akumetsu - similar to Death Note but the MC is more reckless and badass, killing politicians with his own hands (not writing off their names in a notebook :P). Deadman Wonderland - bloody shounen. Eden: It's an Endless World! - post-apocalyptic world. Revolves around terrorism, drugs, prostitution, mafia, conspiracy etc. The most fucked up manga I've ever read (in a good way). The author likes to troll the readers by killing off characters, just like in Akame ga Kill. Gangsta. - badass duo. Can't say much since I've only read 8 chapters. Kimi no Knife - about a goody two-shoes who is forced to be a hitman to earn money for his sister's treatment. The Pale Horse (webtoon)- some would say it's shoujo, but it's dark anyway. Set in 19th century France, it's about a 12 year-old girl whose mother is accused as a witch, but the truth is more interesting (it would be spoiler). Has gorgeous art. |
