Very abrupt way to end a show for sure. That cancellation really murdered the series.

Not having a focused big bad didn't help things. Though it was nice that they were able to resolve the love triangle, somewhat, by making Hitomi the winner while still having her remain friends with the other girl and said other girl being fine with things.
