| The manga sold 65 million volume sold, which puts it number nine of all time manga sales in Shounen Jump. The anime before the time slot change had good TV ratings. (Around 4 million and below) don't quote me on that though, I didn't check every single week. So yes, Hunter x Hunter is very popular and loved in Japan. It sold 3 million last year, despite not releasing new volumes. I watched a Shounen Jump TV show thing, HxH ranked number 2 on the current generation list. |
