‘Akuma no Riddle’ Reveals New Images

The spring 2014 anime series Akuma no Riddle has some new information out there today, including several shots from the show itself to highlight the characters. Those image were released in conjunction with the news that the series will be getting a companion web radio show starting in April where lead actress Ayaka Suwa will be hosting with a variety of guests coming on to talk about the series. The show is based off of the manga by Yun Kouga, who came to fame with Loveless and her character artwork contributions for Gundam 00, which brought in new fans to the franchise that wouldn’t ordinarily go there. Written by Kouga and illustrated by Sunao Minakata, the title has been running in Newtype since 2012 and doesn’t have much out overall just yet, but there’s enough for Diomedea to work with for its anime production.

Plot concept: The story is set at Myoujou Academy, a private girls’ boarding school. The 10th year’s Kurogumi class has 12 assassins with their sights on one target, Haru Ichinose. Tokaku Azuma is a recent transfer student who is also targeting Ichinose, but she gradually develops feelings for Ichinose.

I really like the colors and art style myself, it reminds me a little of Zetsuen no Tempest. The plot seems a little interesting too and not just some moe girl-on-girl masturbation material with no real story or development *coughsakuratrickcough*.

Offtopic: What the hell? already rated 6/10 by one person? Why the hell do people do that? meh.
Actually why is that even allowed in the site? rofl.

unlike other yuri shows this one targets female audience males will tend to find it boring and slow based, not a lot of action but mainly it's mystery.

Exactly my problem with anime! I can hardly find an anime with plot and female leads without fanservie!

I've read up to ch12 in the manga and it looks pretty underwhelming plot-wise in my opinion.
And I prefer yuri that targets the female audience instead of male if that means less fanservice and more plot.
