Ignoring the people wilding rn, I really liked this show. Maybe giving a 9 is too much, maybe an 8 is more appropriate, and I do agree it fell of a little at the end, but I still enjoy it quite a lot. Like I said in a different thread, this had a lot of amazing situations, random looking at first but I really enjoyed them and the dynamic felt realistic quite a few times. I love Koko she is a ridiculous character and all the time you are like "what a dumb hoe" but I really like her. I didn't dig the drama that much but oh well, amnesia isn't my favorite theme after all and I didn't enjoy the ghost Banri way of showing it, but since it's something that is quite hard to explain I guess this ambiguous portray isn't exactly inaccurate since it's hard to tell for sure how his brain behaves. It's a great show to see how much you enjoy your youth for sure, all the senpai, the great friends he had, the cool moments they shared, and how much Koko liked having a bf. Weird how the Oka and Linda and Yana thing ended but meh, clearly the bigger focus was Banri not them, and at some points I'm like why is this hoe not in a hospital right now, having all these attacks. Nana was an amazing character, I loved her a lot, she was so real in that bridge too, how she felt bad for not helping and just acting smug about it. I also think Banri should have mentioned his health condition to the faculty in order to get the costumes back, but that's just me

@Greek12 oh one last thing....DID THAT FUCKER REALLY HAVE A SMARTPHONE??? after they showed him having a retro flip phone??? what the hell was with that, I felt like I was watching one of those readaptations or sequels after a lot of years like CCSakura, where they make them own current technology, but in the same season, so weird

I didn't like how the story plot goes as I anticipated Linda with Tada (mc) instead of Koko but the story plot was the opposite so ofc I dropped watching this anime, if the plot was made for a change I might consider watching I suppose

dont know if you will still react to this or still care:

but do you really think banri should be with linda in the end? there was ZERO evidence of that ever happen lol. That train left the station the moment she came too late to that bridge lol.

linda seriously was only a good supportive friend for the whole show, i seriously dont get how anyone would think that they would end up together after the whole show was about banri and kouko.

I mean the whole show was about their relationship basicaly from episode 1. How can anyone expect him to end with someone different :D.

btw: i really liked the show. the moment she watched in that mirror, and his memorys came flashing back i had tears in my eyes.
i really loved kouko as a character too btw.
a little annoying early on, but she got better and better from episode to episode.

i mean do you even realise how much of a burden it is to be with someone where you constantly need to live with the fear that he might forget you in the next second?
she dealed with that, and sometimes it was too overwhelming for her which was completly understandable. the push she needed in the end from 2D-Kun was all the needed to go back to him and try again.

i found their relationship really genuine and kouko was a great female lead. i really dont get the hate for her character, she was awesome and not as boring as many other female love interests in anime.
some men really cant handle women with fire :D

I'm still upset that Koko gave up on Banri, but I'm glad they finally got back together.
Very, very sweet anime. It was everything that anime made in the last five years seems to be missing.

Had high hopes at first, but it unfortunately becomes more disappointing as the episodes progresses. The drama felt forced. The pacing swings between serious moments and comedy like its got bipolar disorder. Dont get me wrong, I still find it enjoyable for the most part, but the whole ghost banri plot is just terrible and make zero sense.

Erm, I still do care for comments, (I was busy with other stuffs so ya do read the notifications from time to time. 😅) and I guess we have different viewpoints then. I do have reasons why I'd voted for Linda with Banri cuz:

They were childhood friends: most of the time childhood friends do have a very close relationship, and later would develop feelings for each other, so its natural that usually animes and mangas would show on them ending up with each other .

Also Kouko had a fond of someone earlier on, (but that guy was already rejecting her, so I dunno about that) and then developing feelings with Banri seems natural too, but in my opinion I personally wish still it was Banri with Linda since they know each other better, (there was even one unforgettable clip showing when Linda said something mean to her friends after school just to hide her feelings in front of her classmates but didn't realize Banri was behind the door waiting for her, and later tried to apologize to Banri and eventually the misunderstanding was resolved, so u can see how much she feels for him when young right? Fyi I got this from a anime video clip compilation, and I'm not wrong about that.)

Yes Kouko might become more mature in further episodes but I still feel the things that they talk of and the interactions on the earlier episodes that I've watched of lets me conclude that I'd still prefer Banri with Linda.

Childhood friends do tend to form better & close relationship than outsiders. :)

Disagree. I had a childhood friend and as soon puberty hit for her she dropped me like a hot potato. I was very confused at the time. It sucked... almost 30 yrs later it still does a bit.

Damn! I was rooting for Linda senpai to be with him in the end. What is the last 4 episodes about? Can somebody tell me why Koko didn't even feel an ounce of empathy when she found out about Banri's condition that he needed anti anxiety medications for? She even saw him experiencing it during the Awa Dance festival and yet she just broke up her relationship with him because of that. The last episode throwing them back together just didn't fit the ending. I mean, there is no reason to get back with a girl like that. Even if his memories returned the best way is to just pretend she didn't exist at all. What a let down. What is supposed to be the main message of the whole show? That a girl can just get whatever she wants whenever its convenient for her? And what was that about Linda saying that the answer is yes? Is that supposed to be an alternate version of what happened in the past?

I was too hasty in my post. It seems that Kaga Koko needed some convincing to go see Tada Banri at the last episode. That makes all the things she said even worse. I mean, when you needed to be convinced by 2dKun about what you truly feel then that means what you really say is insincere. Those words from her at the bridge seems to have no meaning at all in that context. In the end, Kaga Koko ended up with a different man that she fell in love with and that relationship will never be the same thing they had the whole show. 5/10

Absolutely, I can’t see any flaws in this anime.
While watching it, I felt a kinda dejavu and saw parts of myself in some scenes and made me think that the author has real experience with human relationships.
The story, the anime itself, and the musics are a solid 10/10 for me.
