| You mean like how you choose to spend your day with choices and points? Not as restrictive as the Persona series but yeah, it's very similar. It just there to add padding to help shape your units, supports and items better but largely unimportant. I've seen people skip it all together (Free roaming and Class lectures) just to get to the next story points and manage just fine. It does make the game a lot more challenging if you do that though but you can once in a while just grind a free quest over and over to level up your characters like in Awakening and Fates. This is why you see people with Save files of 100+ hours. They're just grinding free battles and building character supports due to OCD and completionist sake. Persona is definitely A LOT more engaging and better. |
| Nice, i did read some stuff about Awakening and Fates as well (never played them tho) that you can "grind" for levels and such, i dont mind grinding, i actually like grind .. so i can overlevel everything and become the absolute god of the said game. Just wanted to be sure it's not one of those slow fire under my ass type of timers. |

| @Swagernator Can I recommend you try Awakening first then? It was the series peak and saved the franchise (It was going to be axed) and my favorite. Fate should be a hard pass because it tried too hard, Anime trope got out of hand and tried TOO MANY new things. But yeah you can grind to be an absolutely god and steam roll however kiss like 20+ hours of your life gone. Awakening > Three Houses > > > > > > Fates. If you end up liking Awakening, great, try the others. If not, then you can safely say the series is just not for you. - I just found out Final Fantasy titles on the eshop are having a 50% off sale. The only one I don't own is 12 Age of Zodiacs purely because after X2, Final Fantasy was dead to me. I tried 13 but barely lasted 2 hours into that garbage. Is 12 worth getting? I didn't like how beta Van looked, I heard he was largely irrelevant and a background character, it wasn't good and that the game was super grindy. I do like grind. I love Frans ass. I love some of the summons. Is this game worth picking up? Have I mentioned how much I love that bunny's ass? God my futa dick want ins. |

| I played FFXII back then on the PS2 and I remember enjoying it. It has a top notch English dub, probably one of the best of the franchise. Vaan who? Balthier is the leading man and steals the whole show. Can't say if it's worth picking up considering the pseudo-MMO style of gameplay isn't for everyone, especially when it's super grindy. But at least the game feels quality made typical of Final Fantasy games unlike FFXIII and beyond. Also I'm bored as fuck so I'll give FE Awakening a try. Might try out Shadow Dragon first cause of Tiki. |

| Vaan and Penelo suck ass as main protags, and the gameplay is definitely not for everyone, but storywise it's pretty good. Outside of the MMOs it's probably the last good mainline Final Fantasy title they've made in the last decade and a half. But then again the only other games they've made were the "Toriyama gets a massive boner over his waifu Lightning" saga and FFXV, a game infamous for its horrible development problems. |

| Man, the drama over leak the right now. Someone actually release the 1.5 beta client because Mihoyo is never smart about security. Thanks to that bunch of leaks comes out and Mihoyo got really angry and shit and shutdown the 1.5 server. The big leakers deleted their twitters and now nobody what's what. The worst thing that can happen is that 1.5 got delayed. That gives me more time to save. |

It does feel more like Cyborg's movie tho. Darkseid was there I guess. There was a flashback scene showing how Darkseid was sent packing by the old gods,Amazons,Atlantean and some dudes in armor. I thought that was cool. |

OK, I'm really impressed with Suzuran. She's been carrying me through the hardest maps in chapter 7. I didn't care much for her when I first got her because Slowers are usually not that essential and there are only so many slots I'd rather use for DPS. Then comes chapter 7, where enemies are so fast, your DPS can't deal enough damage in time anyway. Then... you get 35 seconds of this at M3 + Healing + enemy debuff. It's absurd. |
I finally did it, the after time skip was kinda chore from time to time but i kept on going and finished it today. Definitely a game worth the ruckus. Also yes, i play on casual, cuz fuck random miss hits of my units and then death in the name of rng-sama. |
