| So yeah this is the aftermath of this arc, the celebration episode in other words. Skypiea is in many ways similar to Alabasta but that being said, I feel it's not as good as Alabasta. Not to say it was an awful arc in general,it was pretty good for the most part, no the problem with this arc is just the pacing, it's a bit of a slow one but again it did have it's fair share of great moments like the story between Noland and Kalgara was certainly a highlight for me. I will say overall this arc was pretty good but maybe ranks a little lower than Alabasta for me personally. As for the episode itself? Looks like Eneru has survived but has lost what little sanity he had left and is heading towards…the moon. Well it's something. I'm not surprised that there was no deaths here but again it's One Piece it's to be expected. I'm in two minds about this, on the one hand it feels lazy as a story narrative, but on the other hand considering what's happened in the context of Skypiea, I feel I can let that factor slide. I mean come on we are talking about two tribes at war with each other for 400 years and not seeing an end to said war until now. I honestly feel it's fitting with that in mind. And Cricket finally managed to hear the bell ring! I'm so happy for that dude. So happy for that dude. Such a beautiful end to this arc, such a beautiful end. |
