| they're really pushing for nami's introduction to be less sudden and have a bit more behind it in the anime... i kinda like it too though. definitely like some of the extra details added too |
| The 3rd episode of One Piece was pretty average but Zoro joining the crew and Koby being punched in the face made it enjoyable and fun to watch |

| I gotta say the soundtrack for One Piece is tremendous I mean it's so beautiful to listen to. The anime is definitely picking up in terms of the story, Luffy has acquired his first crew member in the form of Zoro another great episode it certainly felt like it was the start of a great adventure about to start and the Marines saluting the boys at the end and the boat simply moving out of the dock just an incredible sight to see. Otherwise it's straightforward and again the pirates and marines aren't typical good guys and bad guys they are more rounded when it comes to this show in particular. And I think I'm digging Zoro's three sword style, it looks pretty cool I must say. |

| Good debut for Zoro, but could have been better. Luffy is becoming more likable, but is still too similar to a Goku-Kuririn mix. |
| As someone that read a bit of the manga, I wasn't sure about the point of including Nami in every episode before her manga debut, but I have to say that I like how this episode tried to tie this arc and the next one through her. |
