I've read Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and I liked it a great lot. Angelou touches on the subject of intersectionality; not only is it a memoir of a woman, but a black woman too. It's definitely worth a read.

As for less ambitious literature, I'm currently reading When Women Were Warriors by Catherine Wilson and in love with it. Most of the characters are women, they're all well-written and developed, many of them lesbian/bisexual, and there are non-white characters too. It's a real gem in the fantasy genre, considering a lot of the other books only feature white straight male protagonists.
