Tell them to try it again and make sure to let a lot of time pass between each action, i.e. between requesting a new password and between trying to login. @PR3DAT0R: Seems to be working now? |

Log in with the recovered password: logged . Edited the password . Viewed my anime list . Viewed my manga list . Tried to edit my manga list: message that says I have to log in . Tried to log in: password wrong . Tried again: password wrong . Gone to the homepage: I'm logged in . Refreshed it: I'm no longer logged in" |
| Prelude, you(r friend) may have to wait 4 hours or more before all the database servers get the message that your password changed. Just stop trying to recover it and simply wait. After 4 hours have passed log in with the most recent password in email. |

| Hi, i lost acces to the e-mail account wich is registered with my main account. -To clarify, i deleted the gmail account because of the massive spam built up. The main account I am talking about is "Shizzlr"- So when I try to reset the pass it sends it to a non-existent gmail.com address. What I am asking is to change the e-mail of "Shizzlr" to the one I registered this account with. I could give u all info u need to prove its my account. Thanks in advance; Shizzlr. |

I activated what I could anyway. @Shizzlr1: I'm sorry but if you've lost access to both your account and your e-mail I can't help you. You can't prove it's your account without access to either of those things, sorry. @Starblom: Tell her to try it now, we were experiencing massive lag over the weekend. If it still doesn't work, PM me and I'll e-mail a new password to that e-mail address. |

| I manually activated everything I could. If it's still not working, please post here again. The weekend lag was really, really bad and everything was FUBAR'd. @Starblom: I e-mailed a new password to the e-mail specified in the user's account. If that doesn't work, we're out of luck. @MaglorOfNoldor: Your friend used the wrong e-mail, please tell him or her to fix it when they log in. | Trouble? You'll have to be a little more specific, please. Did he try the password reset link? Yahoo shouldn't have a problem with MAL e-mails. |

| Tell him to request a new password then. That should clear things up, assuming he still has access to his email. His account is already activated. |
