Need some facts for this one.

Because they already loaded CSM and afaik they're planning to animate the entire Manga
even then 2023 has 4 high profile productions from MAPPA - Vinland Saga S2, JJK S2 (this might get delayed imo), AoT part 3, Jigokuraku - and probably a bunch of other leftover productions. They're already having a hard time managing all these shows and MAPPA's production management is just ass. So I think taking OPM, literally OPM which is deemed impossible to animate in full glory, and placing it in 2023-24 is absolutely reckless. I'm not entirely denying the possibility though because MAPPA is the definition of Reckless.
(yes I'm denying the very first thing I said, MAPPA IS that reckless)

I mean it's basically shounen at this point tho. the nail in the coffin for me was all the censoring in volume 27. they know how many kids read it so the publishers treat it like a shounen.

You know, this could mean there's a possibly that studio bones will animated it.
If it becomes real, OPM Season 3 will be fire. Just like how they did Mob Psycho 100. 100% Justice for the Manga Art.

I don't think we will have any better team for OPM other than Madhouse with Fukushi Yuichiro at the helm. OPM S1 was made with a dream team, it needs a dream team to bring back the glory. Fukushi Yuichiro is back with Sousou No Frieren. If that anime turns out well, then OPM S3 needs to be on his hand.
