The Atelier Iris series,

Atelier Iris Eternal Mana in particular, loved that game as a kid.

I am aware an Atelier game has gotten an adaptation into an anime in 2014: http://myanimelist.net/anime/21167/Escha___Logy_no_Atelier__Tasogare_no_Sora_no_Renkinjutsushi which was for one of the more recent games for the ps vita (and maybe the ps4?) Which was awesome that this franchise ended up getting an anime.

Lots of people know about the Atelier series from the Mana Khemia titles, which would also be awesome as anime.

Ah, yes. I'm also curious if they will ever adapt any of the Atelier Iris trilogy into anime series. Though the third game may (and will) be a pain to adapt since they've lost Miyu Matsuki (the VA of Iris from the third game) and they have to get someone who can replicate that cute voice of hers.

However, in Gundam, all life begins with Nu and ends with Hi-Nu. While in KanColle, all life begins with Nu and ends with Kinu.

What we really all need is a super edgy and dark adaptation of Animal Crossing

Grandia I and II would make great anime adaptations, and both have had some sort of anime cutscenes. Seeing Millenia from II be herself would just be hilarious in animation. And the scenery in both games is just so beautiful that I would love to see them in fully hand drawn splendor.

OMG THIS. Nothing would make me happier than a QUALITY anime of these, especially Grandia II. Just don't give it to the guys that handled Seisen Cerberus. I've never played the game, but the anime was God-awful.

I would also like to see an Okami anime. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, but in the hands of a director who loves it as much as I do (and I love it A LOT), it could be brilliant.

Judgment calls you out on your simple listing thread.

OT: I would like Nekopara to be adapted to anime since the character models are so beautiful and also because it's a nekomimi eroge. I think it would neat if Mario Cart was adapted, although I feel that it would have a similar atmosphere as the Speed Racer movie. After Pokemon XY&Z finishes airing the next season should adapt Pokemon Go. If they do this I will watch.

Tales of Xillia for me. I loved the game and the in-game cinematics already felt like i was watching an anime.

Yeah fully, while it would be highly unlikely for it to get adapted, it'd still be a pleasant surprise if it ever did happen.

I'm also surprised to see someone else who's with familiar with the series, always a bonus.

I think an anime adaptation of Shadow of the Colossus would be awesome.
That would be awesome. Only problem is that they are going to have some dialogue fill the space as the Wander goes to fight the bosses.

Personally, I think a SotC adaptation could work with minimal/no dialog. Presumably there'd be an episode per Colossi, and with ~20 real minutes to work with, only about 5 minutes tops would be used to show the journey. The quietness might turn off some, but I think most people wouldn't mind too much... especially if the battles do the game justice.

As for other games I'd be interested in seeing anime adaptations of...

Silent Hill springs to mind. Preferably an adaptation of SH2 or SH4, or an original story along those lines... I'm not big on the mainline cult plot, and the movies already covered that ground (poorly). It'd have to be a very particular team behind the adaptation though... I don't think any ol' random assortment of talent could adapt SH into an anime while still keeping it feeling like SH.

Yakuza would probably have a pretty good anime adaptation, and considering how long the localization takes for the games, Yakuza 6 anime would probably be here before the game gets released in the US.

Rumble Roses
I know people will laugh....but hey it could work besides I like I wanna be the strongest in the world.

and this. i admit that i laughed while seeing this. but it was good for fap material. btw, the next fall there's an anime quite similar with this; keijo ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Well mroeso in being taken serious since Rumble Roses has a decent corp of characters and would be nice if they use the context of wrestling storytelling. Think of WOW wrestling if you need an example. That would be RR in real life.
I got a Masters degree. I don't have to worry bout school anymore.
