| I'm currently in a year-long "lull." It began after I finished Kingdom and started watching Magi back in April of 2015. I could feel my attention wavering and I began to grow bored so I stopped watching anime indefinitely. I've been meaning to watch season 2 of Magi but I don't want to watch it when my mood might affect my enjoyment of the show. |

Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people. Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation. There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime.
