Komori-san wa Kotowarenai (manga) Anime to Air in October

"The September issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Original magazine announced on Monday that the anime of Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya's Komori-san wa Kotowarenai (Komori Can't Refuse!) manga will premiere on television in October.

The manga revolves around middle school student Shuri Komori, who is too kind and is unable to say no when someone asks her for a favor. However, she has gained various amazing abilities as a result."

Non Non Biyori Manga Creator Atto Works on New Anime

"The September issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine revealed on Monday that Non Non Biyori manga creator Atto is creating original character designs for a new anime that is being planned. The announcement did not reveal any other details about the new anime. The October issue of the magazine will include a collaborative cover featuring Non Non Biyori and the new anime when it ships on August 27."

"Atto launched the Non Non Biyori manga in Monthly Comic Alive in 2009, and Kadokawa published the eighth compiled volume in March. Seven Seas is releasing the manga in North America.

The first television series adaptation of Non Non Biyori from director Shinya Kawamo and anime studio SILVER LINK (WATAMOTE, Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts) premiered last year. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed it for North American digital and home video release.

The second season, Non Non Biyori Repeat, premiered earlier this month, and Crunchyroll is again streaming the series as it airs. Sentai Filmworks will release the second season on home video."

"The official website of the upcoming Ore ga Ojō-sama Gakkō ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Gets-rareta Ken (The Case of My Abduction as a "Commoner Sample" by a School for Rich Ladies) anime unveiled the anime's cast and October premiere date on Monday."

"The website also revealed that the anime will premiere in October on the AT-X, BS Fuji, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto channels.

Ichijinsha previously streamed a promotional video for the series in March."

"The Ore ga Ojō-sama Gakkō ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Rachirareta Ken light novel series debuted in 2011 with Gekka Urū's (Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne) character designs. Ichijinsha published the 10th volume of the novel series on Monday. Risumai's manga adaptation launched in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine in 2012."

SHAFT's Prism Nana Anime Project Will Be an OVA Slated for This Year

"The official Facebook page for Studio SHAFT's Magical Suite Prism Nana anime project posted a comment last month that an Original Video Animation is slated for this fall or winter.

The project is planning several releases within the year, and will announce details at this year's Summer Comic Market (Comiket), August 14-16.

SHAFT first announced the project with prototype Nendoroids at Comiket in 2012. The project has thus far been limited to a series of pachislo (pachinko parlor slot) machines and a seven-part pilot promotional video series featuring theme songs by the voice actresses."

"Chihiro Ishizuka's story of 15-year-old witch who moves to northern Japan
A television anime adaptation of Chihiro Ishizuka's Flying Witch manga has been green-lit. The comical story follows the 15-year-old witch Makoto Kowata and the other boys and girls in her daily life. With her black cat Chito, the somewhat aimless girl moved from Yokohama to live with her second cousin at Aomori in verdant northern Japan."

"Ishizuka launched the manga in the September 2012 issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine (Attack on Titan, The Heroic Legend of Arslan), and Kodansha published the third compiled volume in April. The fourth volume will ship on April 8, 2016. The anime will air on NTV, Aomori Broadcasting Corporation, and other stations. The staff, cast, and other details will be announced later."

P.A. Works' HaruChika TV Anime Premieres in January

"The official website for HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru, P.A. Works' (Shirobako, Tari Tari, Angel Beats!) TV anime adaptation of Sei Hatsuno's HaruChika "wind instrument youth mystery" novel series, revealed on Thursday that the series will premiere in January 2016. The site also revealed line art for the two main characters on Thursday (below).

Masakazu Hashimoto (Tari Tari, Soul Eater Not! Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva) is directing the anime. Reiko Yoshida (Bakuman, K-ON!, Yowamushi Pedal, Tamako Market) is handling the series composition, Namaniku ATK (Chaika the Coffin Princess) is in charge of the original character design, and Asako Nishida (Love Live! School idol project, Vampire Knight, Angel Links) is adapting those designs for animation.

The original novels revolve around two high school students named Haruta and Chika, who are members of a wind instrument club that is on the verge of being shut down. The two are childhood friends, and they spend their days practicing hard while also trying to recruit new members. When a certain incident happens within their school, they work together to solve it"

"Valkyrie Drive is a new mixed media project produced by Japanese media publisher Marvelous helmed by Kenichirou Takaki and Hiraku Kaneko, the creators of Senran Kagura. (I Thought My Online Game Wife Wasn't A Girl?) light novel series is inspiring a television anime adaptation. The novels list the English title And you thought there is Never a girl online?.

The story centers on Hideki Nishimura, a young man who confessed to a person he thought was a girl online, only for that person to turn out to be a boy. He keeps this "black history" secret and swears to never to trust a "girl" online again. However, one day a girl online confesses to him, and it turns out she's actually a beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki. Ako cannot tell the difference between the online world and reality, and she is a loner who has trouble communicating. Hideki and his friends from his guild decide to work together to "correct" her."

Lance N' Masques TV Anime's 1st Promo Introduces More Cast, Premiere Date

"Pony Canyon began streaming the first promotional video on Saturday for the Lance N' Masques television anime. The video reveals three more cast members and also reveals the show's premiere date.

The series will premiere on TBS on October 1, and it will also air on BS-TBS, CBC, and Sun TV. Suzuko Mimori will contribute her fifth single "Light for Knight" as the show's opening theme song. Mimori's single will ship on October 21.

Lance N' Masques adapts Hideaki Koyasu's battle action novel series revolving around Yōtarō Hanafusa, a young man who is part of the last remaining order of knights in the 21st century, "Knights of the World." As he fights as the mysterious Knight Lancer, he must hide his identity behind a mask. One day he meets a girl named Makio Kidōin, and when finding that she lives alone, decides to watch over her. Novel illustrator Shino (Sunday Without God) is collaborating on the anime to depict scenes of everyday life and battles that Shino had not drawn for the light novels."

The story begins with Hiromi Maiharu, a girl who moved from Nagasaki to Kamakura. Manga artist Taishi Mori announced last Tuesday that he wrote a one-shot for this year's 17th issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine, which shipped on Wednesday.
