The third volume of OPM which was released in June had an initial print of 130k. It will soon dethrone One Piece at this pace. Boku no Hero Academia vol.2 for its part had 50k prints which should put it just under Snk currently. TG is also slowly becoming more and more popular. Seems to have good word of mouth among the late teens and early 20 somethings/ millenials (my generation). One-Punch Man has now claimed the all time best launch of any manga in Japan beating Death Note. Platinum End stands at number 3 pushing down Boku no Hero Academia from number 5 to number 6 among all time best launches. This year also seems to be significantly above last year in terms of overall sales. 12.4 million manga copies were sold in 2015. I can see the number climbing to 14 or even 15 million. |

I liked more when there was a Top with the exact sales of each volume. Great for One Punch Man, also with 3 of the 5 top manga sales! And great for One Piece series that is still the king. |
