| Depends. I think if they have a reason that they're stoic, that's fine. If they have a reason to be emotional, that's fine too. But generic protagonists that cry even if there's even a drop of milk spilled, that grinds my gears. |

| Tatsuya from Mahouka and Inaho from Aldnoah Zero are pretty cool emotionless characters just because they get things done, In some shows you need a character like that just to show that somebody is willing and able to do something in different circumstances rather than getting bogged down by emotion. |
