Its all relative. if you don't have a purse and need one, the other does have a person and they need that too no question. And one takes it from the other for means of feeding their family, yes i agree with you it can be bad, especially if both parties are in the same situation. But that's rare. Why rob a bank that has no money in it? thieves go after people who have stuff, that makes the people who have the stuff richer than them. Ok that might be semantic, but true none the less. I guess I am a bit of a Robin hood type person where his certain set of personal ethics meant he robs from people who could afford to lose a few gold pieces and be none the worse off. But wealth is subjective even still. A tramp in England is richer than half the people in Somalia or Zimbabwe. I'm sure if he got robbed by a Somalian for the couple of pounds he had he was going to spend on stuff to feed 10 kid in Somalia for a day he would probably be pissed off. But in the scheme of things more good might have been done. but yes your right, its not clear.
