@aurora_yuuki I think natural selection promotes both sexes to have possessive tendencies, men because they need to prevent paternity fraud,
and women because they need resources to raise children, so if a men had a child with 2 women, each of them would only get half of his resources.
This however can be mitigated if the 2 women live together in the same household and support each other, that's why some cultures have harems.
