I often have short, imaginative outbursts, and in order to conceptualize them fully, I like to walk around. Unfortunately, I don't want to go outside in the dead of night/winter to do this (it would possibly ruin the point I made to walk anyways), so I substitute it with the twists and turns around the furniture of my apartment. It's a wonder how I haven't carved out some deep trenches into my living room/bedroom floors yet (I have gotten some pretty odd stares from family members in the past however). Needless to say though, that's about as much exercise as I ever get; I leave the rest to a sturdy (for now) metabolism.

how the hell do you all get the motivation to work out? I barely have motivation to bring my hand from my side to my mouth to smoke my cigarette, and that is including the addiction portion of my workout.

I used to walk quite some ways to school back in the day as well. Must have been four or five km or something.
These days I only walk to the various University faculties, and most can be reached in a mere 15 minutes.

Working out hard constantly is not counter productive if you know what you're doing, and it seems like arimakenshin does know.

I work out everyday for at least 2 hours; powerlifting straight to olympic lifting. Finish that up with a high intensity cardio session. Of course, all of this wouldn't do any good if you didn't have the correct nutrition. I tend to take in around 1.3 grams of protein per lb (I'd say that would be around 250g) a day and usually eat a lot of fiber (so I don't try to eat junk food). I think, on my light days, I eat around 5000 cals, and on heavy days I eat around 7000. I love eating, but it's hard when you HAVE to eat and not when you WANT to eat.

What I hate about school P.E is that most of the time (at least in my case) the coaches don't really care if you don't do anything. Walk the track? That's some intense cardio right there. Not playing the team sport? 10 push ups! Hardcore. It grinds my gears if you catch my drift.

I run...sometimes. XD

I'm kind of lacking in the exercise department. Yet somehow I remain within the 110-115lb weight range no matter what. I try not to question it - it might just stop working.

I run 25-30 miles a week. Before or after running I also do rope climbs, push ups, pull ups, and sit ups/ other ab work outs. Then I go to the gym if I am feeling motivated and get off early from work and lift for about a hour and a half.

Its about the same here. I never exercise. Unless i'm walking, or jogging to get somewhere fast.

Ya. I would exercise, but my bike is broken lol.

Mine got stolen, So I rot.

The reason why my bike is broken is cuz the chain gears got all messed up and need to be looked at by a professional.

It hasnt been fixed yet cuz my mom has been procrastinating about it for months on end.

Mine had a flat tire before it got stolen, I was to lazy to fix it...

LMAO, I wonder what the thief did with the bike once they realized that there was a flat tire xD.

Only when I feel like riding my bike (which currently has a flat tire).

And on the rare occasion I feel like actully killing my legs in DDR (read: attempting 9's and 10's) because I don't really count 6's and 7's I don't normally count as excercise >_>;

And whenever I go swimming, which is rare.

They say there's no such place... as Paradise. Even if you search to the ends of the Earth, there's nothing there. No matter how far you walk, it's always the same road. It just goes on and on. But, in spite of that... Why am I so driven to find it? A voice calls to me... It says, "Search for Paradise."

Every day whenever the opportunity presents itself. For example, if I'm waiting for someone to show up and there's a tree or something nearby, I'll climb it, do pull-ups, etc...

What type of exercise are we talking about here? If it's a push-ups, pull-ups, and grip devices, then every day.

If we're talking an hour spent lifting in the gym, then three times a week. And I'm still pretty weak and skinny, heh.

However, there are very few people who can put in 4 or more hard days in the gym a week, over several months, without having it negatively affect them. To do that, one needs to either be an elite-level, athletic freak, take lots of steroids, or both.

I hate exercising for the sake of doing it. I prefer to take long walks in the woods and stuff like that (tranquility is great). So I really don't get much exercise in the winter, otherwise I get plenty from that sort of thing during warmer seasons (aka everything but winter).

It's a good thing I eat right; otherwise I'd probably gain weight. I used to be fairly athletic... I gotta get back into breakdancing. That really whips you into shape.
