Another one got taken down with the help of insant kill. 3 got taken out by the last hassan's insant kill. So yeah, only Mashu left. | Hassan is literally the easiest with Nero Caster and a god tier healer like Medea Lily. You just casually kill each assassin until you're up to the one that has the instant kill buff, pop a guts buff on Nero and use her AoE NP to kill everything. Heal to full with Medea Lily, rinse and repeat. Also Spartacus is annoying. Waiting for command spells so I can spam Enuma Elish. |

Medea is crucial because some of the Hassans have a debuff called 'Doom' which basically insta-kills the attacker once the Hassan is killed. Medea's NP can take away the debuff without killing the enemy, so she's pretty much perfect. If you have Amakusa, you can use him instead of Medea, but Medea can spam her NP better, so you'll want her. Alternatively, you could use Iri. Her NP has a heal and she gives the party guts, so you can get around the insta-kill. And it'll probably be a pain to max one Servant because of a ticket, lol. Or you could get a max'd Medea from your support list which would get around your level problem. All in all, I'd suggest these two teams: >>Team Safety: Gil, Iri, Medea(max'd support). Don't take a Medea support which has it, however, because it could mean that her NP would kill the Hassan before she can debuff it, meaning your Medea gets insta-killed. And you don't want that. I keep making the mistake of focusing on the servant instead of the scrubs around it, it nearly cost me the battle this time. Had 2/6 servants remaining, MVP was Medusa for surviving on the front line until the end of the battle (I think it was like 12 turns?), with less than 200 hp left. Ironically first one to go down was NPC Jeanne, killed by Jeanne Alter's NP. |

| @Nyarlathothep I can put Iri out for you as my support, if you want. Just pick the CE you want her equipped with. For reference, that's the team I used a year ago (I haven't attempted the quest this year yet): I equipped Iri with Divine Banquet because that was the only way she could keep up her NP spam. That or Illya's CE would do, though. As for the fight itself, here's my humble contribution: Medea, being a 3*, is really easy to max, especially with how much the event lottery throws EXP cards at us. I'd take my time leveling Medea and use the support slot for an essential Servant you don't actually have IMO. If you do, you can select either a maxed Iri (support) or use your own and choose Medea Lily (support) to keep both her and your Gil alive for as long as possible. Mira's teams are on point, so I'd keep in mind that Iri's guts (the one constant in both teams) gives 1 HP and you'll REALLY need to remedy that severe drawback in a continuous wave fight like this if you couldn't survive long enough with the more aggressive party. |

Merlin was another option for the healer seat, but I didn't mention him because, in that particular case, Medeal Lily is more competent than him in dealing with Iri's 1 HP guts. I'd have recommended him more if your hitter had at least a Buster NP. Anyway, all the 2016 quests are doable with the Servants you can use from support now. If you hit a roadblock with Gil or Nero, ask away. |

I wouldn't recommend using them just yet, anyway - they're much more effective when you have high AP. Just get a good support and repeat the most EXP-efficient node you can reliably beat (probably 40 AP Quartz with a strong Rider/Berserker) to get levels for a free refill and so you can just go to sleep with low AP and wake up with 80-120. If you have trouble beating story quests, you should probably do quests at the Chaldea gate to level your Servants anyway. In other news, I rolled my third Martha (on NA) today. Yay... Grinding 40 AP daily for hours until I get to level 100 doesn't sound too fun tbh either. And yeah I have some good supports on my friends list, thankfully. ------------- Today I got Rider Medusa to level 40, where can I find materials for 2nd ascension? My Herc is almost 50 so would be nice to know where to get materials for him too. Also do you guys recommend investing in Medea/Caster Cu? I know there are better 4* and 5* casters but I don't think I'll get them any time soon. |

Next Singularity has a Saber boss, so I'd recommend getting a decent Archer (Robin Hood from friend point rolls is pretty good). Medusa needs Snake Jewels, which you can get in the green nodes in the Chaldea gates on Friday. Unfortunately, the drop rate means you're going to need to spend over 1000 AP to get even one of them (on average). (Here's a chart with drop rates and the best locations to farm from /r/grandorder: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_SlTjrVRTgHgfS7sRqx4CeJMqlz687HdSlYqiW-JvQA/view#gid=525320539) You can find golems, which drop the crystals Herc needs, in the next Singularity. Alright. First off, you should farm the Duel with the Four Cavalries/Duel with the Three Knights quests whenever they appear - the pieces and monuments are going to come in handy. You can farm the dragon fangs to ascend Medea in Thiers (the Shadow Lancelot free quest). I'd also recommend getting Hans Christian Andersen and Hassan of the Cursed Arm form the Friend Point gacha - Hans is a good supporting Caster and Hassan has a fairly strong single-target NP coupled with good critical star generation. The first quests in Septem are going to be fairly easy anyway, so you can probably keep playing through the story for now. Beyond that, you should probably just farm the XP cards you need to max out your Servants. I already have Hans at NP 2 even, same with Hassan, so I guess I'm good to go? :D After I do xp dailies a couple times that is. After looking at the drop rates though, sounds like a massive time sink that may not even be fruitful :feelbadman: Thanks man, being a noob is suffering :| |

| I'll just assume EoR3 is scheduled for the 27th since that's when this random Okita event ends. It's now or never for EoR3 event anyway, since Halloween event will start around the 20th of October and they like having a week or two of break before chapters/big events. |
