Rarely does anything get matched up with the hype they are brought up and this episode just shows that the shows deserved all the hype it got. I still can't get over the op IT'S SOOOO GOOD!!

Denji and pochita really captured my heart. And their VA really did a great job, suit the characters so well. For the first episode it's perfect for me, we got to see denji's background story. The animation is good tho and the ambience is kinda dark that suit well with the storyline.

I heard about the manga from a friend, the first time I didn't like it. A few months after I saw that the anime was released, I didn't want to see it. And today I saw that it's super popular and I said I'd try it. Now I finished the first episode and it was super cool. I think I'll give the anime a 10 when the first season ends.

A great introduction to Chainsaw Man. The CGI was a bit jarring but I would say it was handled really well overall.

Moral: You don't necessarily have to look for something better in life - look for what cool stuff you already have in your lives.

This anime doesn't intrigue me that much yet. And why the heck chainsaws, idk if I will like this choice of weaponry. But the last scene was intriguing!

Was a little put off initially by the CGI, but damn that lasted for the first 5 mins only.
Once the episode picked up steam, I was hooked.
I have kept myself bereft of any information on Chainsaw Man; having deliberately refrained from reading the manga, just so that I could enjoy the anime to it's fullest, and goddamn did it deliver.

The colours, the music, the pacing, everything was on point. Loved it. Gonna watch it again.

Not much to say. Animation is decent but it also has the worst OP song in my memory. I thought generic jpop is the worst thing you can put in an OP, but I guess jarring noise is as bad. "Kick the dog" levels were off the charts to the point of ridiculousness. I hope this episode wasn't supposed to make me feel bad for the MC, since it was more of a bland dark comedy than actually depressing. It's actually a shame MC always has to die or whatever and gain the powers in the first episode. There's no time to get to know the character and than see the impact of the change. Or even care about it.

I'll see how far can this show go on premise and decent animation alone or if it will have anything justifying all the clamor around it.

i don't know exactly but i don't think 3d animations belong in a 2d anime that was drawn with love but i liked the 2d drawings and the story i think is not bad either
