| I'm from the United States, a New Yorker to be specific. I've always enjoyed anime which always takes people by surprise. People think I'd be more interested in MMA than MAL. I think that was a pun. Regardless, I love cheesy jokes. Straight up stupid comedy is my kind of comedy. I'd love to have some people to chat with. I think the best time I had watching anime was when I watched Code Geass with a friend episode by episode. We'd talk to one another over Xfire and, really, made the experience all the much more enjoyable. |

I don't talk too much IRL but on the internet it's like i'm a different person. I really cannot speak english very well (never been or took english lessons) so i apologise beforehand if you do have a hard time trying to understand what i say @_@. I don't think i have any favourite genre but i love serious plots (im quite attracted to Romance, Seinen and fantasy), not really a fan of comedy anime. | Hello everybody ! Name's Julien, male, 19 years old and French nerd. I started anime as a kid with DBZ and Naruto among others. The more i grow up, the more I find myself a fan of everything SciFi and Mecha. Of course I try to keep an open mind and watch a bit of every genre / sub-genre. Currently marathoning the whole Gundam / Macross franchise. Suggestions and advices are welcome by the way ! :) I was studying sound engineering in Paris, before changing path to computer engineering. Thus, I am not a musician per se, but quite knowledgeable on the technical side of things, and very into synthesizers (especially japanese ones :) ). I also love roleplaying games, video games, travels, and also like to do some paintings from time to time. I actually have 'family' in Japan, in fact my sister is finding herself with a Japanese man for more than two years as of now. I'll go there for a 15 days trip this summer ! There will be at least some pictures on my profil, can't wait to live it and then share the awesomeness with you guys ! Well, I guess that's ok for an intro. | Hi everyone! I'm Aapo, just turned 24 a month ago and I come from the cold wasteland called Finland. I'm a post grad student and studying to get a master's in biomedical engineering. Started watching anime when I was little kid, but I actually did it unknowingly. I watched shows like Pokemon, Digimon, Moomins, Beyblade, Cyborg 009, Silverfang (no idea why the local library let me lend it...) and a bit later Dragon Ball Z. I finally found out what anime and manga was when I started watching Bleach in my teens and I've found myself enjoying both of them more and more as the years have flown by. Lately I've been obsessed with Junji Ito'a work. Anime and manga ain't my only hobby though. I play a lot of video games and I love working out. I've been doing powerlifting and weightlifting the past few years. I also used to play music and sing, but haven't really had the time for them for a while now. I've been trying to get back to it though. Right now most of my free time goes to voluntary work in my student guild. Stuff like student advocacy, corporate relations, event planning etc. Basically anything to keep myself from studying ;D Anyway, nice to meet y'all! Feel free to ask me anything. Have a groovy day! |
